Let’s talk about the most feared and lethal forwards around in the National League. If we asked you all to list the best of them… we’re sure that you’ll find space for Gregory Hofmann, 27 years old forward that made his National League debut with Ambrì-Piotta and then played for Davos, Lugano and currently Zug.

This last season, the first one played with the Bulls that did everything to add him to their roster, Gregu met the expectations. 50 games, 47 points including 24 goals. Only Pius Suter scored more goals than him.

Thanks to our friend “The Last Frontier” we can watch the highlights of Gregory Hofmann’s first season played as a Bull. A season that he finished as the Top Scorer of the team coached by Dan Tangnes.

Gregory Hofmann is a great sniper, a lethal forward capable of making the difference. Perhaps from the outside he appears even too selfish sometimes, but we think it’s safe to say that his selfishness is due to the will to do well and make it to the top.

Right, because the “numbers” aren’t the thing that impress us the most when it comes to “Gregu”. Rather, we are always impressed by his will to improve his game constantly and his winning mindset!

Gregory Hofmann has an incredible hunger for success and works hard every day to improve each season. In our humble opinion, this is what makes him one of the best forwards around. The NHL is still a subject for him and we’re pretty sure that he thinks about it… he was drafted in 2011 in 103rd overall position by the Carolina Hurricanes but he never made the debut in the most prestigious league of the world. But he has all it takes to have that darn debut and therefore make his dream come true.

We mean, his hard work would deserve to pay off.

Even though of course… selfishly, we would like him to play in the National League forever. And the fans of Zug probably would like to see him forever at the Bossard Arena, and to celebrate a title with their jersey too. But hey, dear Greg… our selfishness aside, we wish all your dreams come true!
