SC BERN vs HC DAVOS
SEASON HEAD TO HEAD
Bern are coming off the 5-4 comeback overtime defeat suffered last night against Rapperswil on the road that followed the 3-2 overtime defeat suffered in Zürich. There is no denying that Bern, regardless of the performances, are darn struggling to win games… and in fact, they won only 2 of their last 9. Moreover, the team is far from being solid, in the image of the fact that Kari Jalonen’s troops conceded 3.75 goals on average in the last 8 games. At any time, however, we’re pretty sure that the Bears will roar their way back. Already tonight? Soon enough, we’ll know the answer…
Davos are coming off the “crazy” 6-5 win earned against Genève Servette on the road that extended their winning run to 3 games. Christian Wohlwend’s troops won 4 of their last 5 games – all obviosly played away from home… – and these results clearly reflect the fact that the Ibexes are seriously a good team. A team that, moreover, plays a very fast and modern hockey!
It’s good omen for Bern to face Davos on the day October 12th… it happened also back in 2012 and on that occasion at the Vaillant Arena the Bears earned a 6-3 away win thanks to the goals scored by Martin Plüss, John Tavares, Nicklas Danielsson, Roman Josi, Geoff Kinrade and Mark Streit. The Ibexes’ goals instead were scored by Gregory Hofmann (2) and Rick Nash.
