HC DAVOS vs SC RAPPERSWIL-JONA LAKERS 5-3
Davos earned a 5-3 home comeback win against Rapperswil at the end of a game played in a surreal environment.
And to say, Rappi seemed to have the game under total control. Jeff Tomlinson’s guys got off to a brillant start. In a matter of 13 minutes they went 2-0 ahead thanks to Juraj Simek and Danny Kristo, with the latter who scored a shorthanded goal. Moreover, after that shortly before the first break Davos scored its first goal of the night with Mattias Tedenby, during the early stages Fabian Maier restored the visitors 2-goals lead and the score at the second break was 1-3.
However, Rapperswil isn’t the team with the worst away record of the league for nothing. Meanthile, Davos isn’t the team with the best home record of the league by accident either.
And so, everything changed after the second break. The Ibexes increased their level of play while the Lakers seemed to have left their heads in the locker room. All this led to the goals scored by Lukas Stoop, Perttu Lindgren and Marc Wieser (2) that set the 5-3 final score in the hosts favor!
THE GUY ON FIRE
Marc Wieser scored the two goals that set the 5-3 final score. He also had two assists. Basically, he was involved in 4 of the 5 goals scored by the hosts!
