Ambrì-Piotta’s last game goes back to over one week ago when they suffered a 4-3 road defeat against Langnau that followed the 3-1 home win earned against Fribourg Gottéron. The Leventinesi – who won their last two home games – won only 2 of their last 7 games. Yet, don’t be fooled by the results, because their performances were good most of the time.
Zug earned a 5-2 home win against Langnau last night and this latter win followed the 5-3 road win earned against Lugano. The Bulls are pure energy, especially in the offensive zone. And won 5 of their last 6 games played. On the road, moreover, they won the last 5. We mean, Dan Tangnes’ guys have been improving a lot lately.
It’s good omen for Zug to play in Ambrì on the day December 8th. It happened also back in 2017 and on that occasion they earned a 3-1 road win thanks to the goals scored by Sandro Forrer, Raphael Diaz and Garrett Roe. The hosts’ consolation goal was scored by Matt D’Agostini.
