HC DAVOS vs SCL TIGERS 5-3
Davos and Langnau gifted the hockey fans with an eventful and funny game. We think it’s safe to say that both teams delivered a good performance… and we think it’s also safe to say that finally the Ibexes deserved the 5-3 win!
The first period was tight, Langnau scored the first goal of the night with Raphael Kuonen after 8 minutes and 52 seconds of play but Davos, in a matter of few minutes, scored the tying goal with Enzo Corvi during the first power-play opportunity of the night.
During the early stages of the central period then, the hosts went 2-1 ahead thanks to Mattias Tedenby and from that moment on the game became exciting. Both teams had their chances, until when – shortly after the half-an-hour mark and again during a PP opportunity – the Ibexes extended their lead to 2-goals with Aaron Palushaj. That could have been a huge blow for the Tigers, who instead were able to shorten distances with Loic In-Albon already before the second break.
Anything could happen during the third period, but it was Davos that in a matter of one minute ad about haf of the last third went 5-2 ahead with Mattias Tedenby and Thierry Bader. By doing so, the Ibexes sealed the three points. Langnau in fact, were able to score only their third goal of the night with Robbie Earl that set the 5-3 final score.
THE GUY ON FIRE
Mattias Tedenby scored two goals and gifted all the hockey fans with a pure show!
