LAUSANNE HC vs HC DAVOS
SEASON HEAD TO HEAD
Lausanne are coming off the 4-3 defeat suffered against Davos on the road that followed the two consecutive wins earned against Bern and Rapperswil. Ville Peltonen’s boys have some ups and downs both in terms of performances and effectiveness in the offensive zone… yet, they’ve generally rock solid. Suffice it to say that in the last game against Davos they conceded more than 3 goals for the first time after 13 games. Moreover, they won 5 of their last 6 home games. We mean, the Lions Vaudois have an amazing potential but they lack of consistency.
Davos never cease to amaze, they’re coming off the 4-3 home win earned against Lausanne that extended their winning run to 5-games. There is no denying that Christian Wohlwend’s troops need a break though… lately in fact, the Ibexes have been looking less brillant and struggled to be consistent over-the-arc of the 60 minutes. We mean, one last effort and then these guys can take a well-deserved break.
When Lausanne and Davos face each other in the Canton of Vaud, it’s rare that one team shutout the other one. The last time it happened dates back to November 25th, 2014, when the Ibexes earned a 3-0 win on the road thanks to the goals scored by Marcus Paulsson (2) and Dino Wieser. That day Leonardo Genoni (Davos) earned the shutout.
