SCL TIGERS vs LAUSANNE HC
SEASON HEAD TO HEAD
Langnau are coming off the 6-3 defeat suffered last night against Genève Servette on the road that followed the 4-3 home shootout win earned against Lugano. The Tigers are struggling to earn positive results… this is evidenced by the fact that they won only 2 of their last 8 games. What surprise us the most, however, is the fact that Heinz Ehlers’ troops aren’t solid (4.3 goals on average conceded in the last 3 games!). Tonight, we expect a reaction!
Lausanne are coming off the 3-1 home win earned against Ambrì-Piotta that followed the 2-1 away defeat suffered in Bienne. Ville Peltonen’s troops already proved capable of being totally dominant, but they still lack of consistency. This is evidenced also by the fact that they won only 3 of their last 7 games. To note, anyway, that lately the Lions Vaudois look rock rolid… in the last 3 games in fact, they conceded only 1.3 goals on average.
When Langnau and Lausanne face each other at the Ilfishalle, the goalies struggle to earn a shutout… the last goalie who was able to earn a shutout at the Ilfis was Cristobal Huet on september 20th, 2016. On that occasion, the Lions Vaudois earned a 5-0 away win thanks to the goals scored by Eric Walsky, Matteo Nodari, Sven Ryser, Alain Mieville and Johnny Kneubuehler.
