EHC BIEL-BIENNE vs HC DAVOS 2-1
Bienne prevailed 2-1 against Davos and therefore won their 5th game out of 6 this season. These results allow them to remain at the top of the NL table!
Let’s face it, the Seeländers’ results are terrific. And they’re even more terrific in light of the fact that, frankly speaking, they’re not yet at the top of their game. In fact, Antti Törmänens’s troops are putting few good and few less good things on display… however, they can always make the difference at the key moments of the game and this is something that bodes very, but very, well for the future.
Let’s take last night game played at the Tissot Arena against the Ibexes. It’s safe to say that the game was balanced, a game during which Davos made their own life difficult because of some unnecessaries penalties… and a game that took 36 minutes and 58 seconds to gift the fans with the first goal scored by Jason Fuchs who gave the lead to the hosts!
During the final third then, the key moment came. Stefan Ulmer extended the Seeländers lead to 2-goals… and that was a controversial goal that the refs allowed after watching the video. And it was a goal that, finally, turned out the decisive one.
Right, because Bienne are rock solid and Davos, who tried their hardest until the end, were able to score only the consolation goal with Perttu Lindgren in the 54th of play that set the 2-1 final score.
THE GUY ON FIRE
Janis-Jérôme Moser is impressive, he plays smart and always does the right thing at the right time. He’s one of the reasons why Bienne are rock solid!
