EV ZUG vs LAUSANNE HC
2019-20 SEASON HEAD TO HEAD
Zug got off to a very good start of the season in terms of results… two games, two wins. Firstly the Bulls won 4-3 on the road against Ambrì-Piotta and then earned a 5-4 comeback overtime home win against the ZSC Lions. Dan Tangnes’ troops have an impressive talent. Even though, so far, they haven’t been able in two games to be consistent throughout the 60 minutes of play.
Lausanne played only one game… and deservedly won it 5-2 in Lugano. The Lions Vaudois proved to be in excellent shape at the Cornèr Arena and they put an impressive organization on display during the seasonal opener.
It’s safe to say that the home advantage plays a key role when Zug and Lausanne face each other. Suffice it to say that only three times in the last 19 head to head (playoffs included) the away side prevailed. Two times Zug won on the road while Lausanne only one.
