ALL THE RESULTS AND VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS

GROUP A

Germany vs United States 1-3

The United States earned a 3-1 win against Germany… but the Germans sold their lives dearly. The two teams went to the first break level on the score (1-1). Germany took the lead with Frederik Tiffels after 11 minutes and 55 seconds of play but the United States almost immediately equalized with James van Riemsdyk. The result then didn’t change until the last 10 minutes of play, during which the Americans scored two goals with Dylan Larkin and Jack Eichel and therefore set the 3-1 final score.

To note that Patrick Kane (former EHC Biel-Bienne) had 1 assist.

France vs Finland 0-3

Finland earned a 3-0 win against France. In fact, there was no deal to make for the Bleus. The Finns took the lead during the first period with Joel Kiviranta… then they extended it during the second third with Niko Mikkola… and finally they set up the 3-0 final score with Jere Sallinen during the third period.

To note that both Petteri Lindbohm (Lausanne HC) and Harri Pesonen (SCL Tigers) had one assist.

The Czech had the game under control from start to finish and the scorers were, in the order, Radek Faksa, Dominik Kubalik, Dominik Simon, Michal Repik, Michael Frolik, Michal Repik, Jan Kolar and Jakub Vrana.
