Davos earned a 5-3 win in Rapperswil and are now very close to win the playout final!
Lakers and Ibexes gifted the fans with an exciting game! Rapperswil arguably would have deserved to win this one… but it’s fair to say that Davos never gave up, they fought hard and in the end they’ve been rewarded!
The first period was quite balanced and Roman Schlagenhauf gave the lead to Rapperswil after 18 minutes and 15 seconds duirng a power-play situation. Almost immediately though, Davos equalized with Anton Rödin… and then the visiting side came back strong after the break and, in a matter of 2 minutes and 41 seconds, went 3-1 ahead thanks to Luca Hischier (power-play goal) and Perttu Lindgren!
Rapperswil, however, never gave up and during the final stages of the central period shortened distances thanks to Kay Schweri’s power-play goal. The goal scored by the former Genève Servette boosted the hosts confidence and this allowed them, 5 minutes and 24 seconds into the third period, to equalize with Jorden Gähler!
It could have been a huge blow for Davos… but instead, the Ibexes found the strength to react and between the 51st and the 56th minute of play went to win the game thanks to Enzo Corvi and Anton Rödin who set the 5-3 final score!

Regardless of the performance, Enzo Corvi scored Davos 4th goal that was likely to be the turning point of the playout final!
