Our game summary, the key player, video highlights and game statistics.
Langnau and Davos gifted us with an entertaining game and at the end the Tigers won it 5-4 after overtime period!
Everything and its opposite happened at the Ilfishalle… the two defenses weren’t rock solid and the forwards had fun. Davos took the lead with Anton Rödin after only 2 minutes and 16 seconds… the Tigers equalized with Alexei Dostoinov in the 9th minute of play… but the Ibexes went to the first break ahead in the score since Dominic Büchli scored his first NLA career goal in the 10th minute of play.
What about the second period then? Still entertaining. Langnau equalized during a power-play situation with Eero Elo shortly after the half-an-our mark… Davos then restored their lead with Marc Wieser also during a power-play situation… but then the two teams went to the second break level on the score since Raphael Kuonen equalized for the Tigers in the 38th minute.
Finally, during the third period, Langnau proved excellent again during power-play situations and took the lead for the first time thanks to Harri Pesonen… but Davos never gave up and equalized with Perttu Lindgren at about 3 minutes to the end!
Out of all this emotional roller coaster… Langnau came out as the winner since Alexei Dostoinov scored the game winning goal 24 seconds into the overtime period!
