Genève Servette HC
Genève Servette are coming off the 2-0 win earned on the road in Zürich that put to an end their 3-games losing streak… McSorley’s troops had to deal with countless injuries and seriously hope that they will more more luck from now on in this regard. The Eagles, however, aren’t that bad. Actually they proved capable of good things. Especially at les Vernets, where they won 10 out of 14 games.

Lausanne are coming off the 7-1 home win earned right against Genève Servette that followed the 4-2 home win earned against Langnau. These last two wins put to an end their 3-games losing streak… three defeats that, however, didn’t have an impact on Ville Peltonen’s morale. The Lions Vaudois in fact are flying!

Goalies shutouts are quite rare when Genève Servette and Lausanne face each other… and they’re even more rare when the derby is scheduled at les Vernets. Robert Mayer was the last goalie able to earn a shutout… he did it on November 20, 2015. On that day, the Eagles earned a 3-0 home win thanks to the goals scored by Damien Riat, Matthew Lombardi and Jonathan Mercier.
