BSC Young Boys vs FC Zürich 4-0
Our match report, the key player, video highlights and match statistics.
Young Boys vs Zürich. The first vs the second. On paper, it was supposed to be the big match of the day. But soon enough, it turned into a one-sided affair for Young Boys.
Seoane’s guys proved stronger in every way. It’s as simple as that. They were more determined. They won all the duels. They attacked. They put quality and quantity on display. We mean, it didn’t take long yesterday to know how the game would turned out.
During the first half Young Boys literally outplayed Zürich. And this led to the first three goals of the day. Miralem Sulejmani opened the score in the 12th minute of play. Christian Fassnacht made it 2-0 only 3 minutes after. And during the final stages, Guillaume Hoarau extended to 3-goals the hosts lead. Game over.
Right, because Zürich had a really bad day. And, frankly speaking, even if they tried to react we think that they could do little or nothing against YB anyway. The hosts in fact were too strong. Furthermore, during an emotionless second half, they were able to find another goal. It was Jean-Pierre Nsame to find the back of the net for the fourth time.
Miralem Sulejmani (BSC Young Boys)
He scored the opener. He set up Fassnacht for the second goal. His cross allowed Hoarau to make it 3-0 right before the break. What else?!
